Why
The law in the UK and many other places says adult sites must stop under-18s seeing adult content. So before you see any video, cover or teaser, we ask you to confirm you are 18 or over.
Information pages, like this help centre, our fees and our policies, are open to everyone.
How it works
Where the law requires it, the check is done by a specialist age-check company. They tell us only whether you passed, never who you are, and we never see your documents.
A pass is remembered on that device for 12 months, so you are not asked every time. If you clear your browser or use a new device, you will be asked again.
