Appeals Policy
In short
- In a video? Ask for removal
- It comes down straight away
- Consent is checked
- No consent, it stays down
The full policy is below. It is the one that counts.

The short version
If you appear in content on Teaselock, you can ask for it to be removed at teaselock.com/appeal. We take it down immediately while we check consent. If consent cannot be established, or is not valid in law, it stays down for good. If the uploader disagrees, a neutral third party decides, at our cost, and the content stays down meanwhile. Creators can appeal our moderation decisions too: a different reviewer decides within 7 business days.
Part 1: If you appear in content
Who can appeal
Anyone who appears in content on Teaselock, whether or not you have an account and whether or not you signed a release.
How to appeal
Go to teaselock.com/appeal, or email complaints@teaselock.com. Tell us:
- the link to the content, or the creator's name and the item title;
- that you appear in it;
- how to contact you.
We may ask you to confirm your identity so we can be sure the request comes from the person shown. We keep this private and use it only for your appeal.
What happens
- Immediate takedown: the content is taken down straight away while we check consent.
- Consent check: we review the consent records we hold for the content.
- If consent cannot be established, or is void under the law (for example because it was obtained by force, pressure or deception, or you were not able to consent), the content stays down permanently.
- If the uploader disputes your request, the dispute goes to a neutral third party to resolve. Teaselock pays for this. You pay nothing. The content stays down until it is resolved.
- Outcome: we tell you and the uploader the result.
You will never be asked to pay to have content of yourself removed.
Part 2: If you are a creator
What you can appeal
- Removal or refusal of your content.
- Changes we required to titles, tags or previews.
- Action on your account, such as a suspension or closure.
- Payout holds linked to a moderation decision.
How to appeal
Reply to the email telling you about our decision, or email complaints@teaselock.com. Explain why you think the decision was wrong and include any evidence, such as consent records or proof of rights.
What happens
- Your appeal is decided by a different reviewer from the one who made the original decision.
- We decide within 7 business days.
- We tell you the outcome and the reason.
- If we agree the decision was wrong, we reverse it, for example by restoring the content or lifting the suspension.
What cannot be restored
Content is not restored if anyone shown has asked for it to be removed and consent has not been established, or if it involves or suggests a minor, or if the law requires it to stay down.
Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in England.
